Roberto López Cagiao was born in Bañobre (La Coruña) in 1976. He received a degree in Educational Sciences, and in his younger years turned to rock music and recorded a couple of albums with the group Trashnos.

He ended up leaving it and in 2019 he published the first title of what is already a saga that has brought him success: “El guardián de las flores.” With it he won the Círculo Rojo Award for best mystery novel. In this interview he talks about his career, his work and what he thinks of the current publishing scene. I thank him very much for the time and friendliness shown to me.
