TodoLiteratura interviews Juan González Mesa, Spanish writer and scriptwriter, born in Cádiz in 1975.

He is the author, among other works, of the novel "Gente muerta," published on paper in 2013. He is currently the plot coordinator and co-author of the online literary project ‘Tiempo de Héroes,1’ ..

with a print edition in 2014, and has participated as a co-writer of ‘Sombras 2’ web series currently available on the iTunes platform. He is an active member of the Horror Writers Association (HWA) and the Asociación Española de Fantasia, Siencia Ficción y Terror, AEFCFT, (Spanish Association of Fantasy, Science Fiction and Terror)

TL: Could you tell us a little about your life and literary activity?

JGM: I was born in Cádiz 43 years ago and I think I've been writing since I read novels. In my childhood that was an extension of the reading experience, although it didn't take long for me to become professional. I think that, specifically, by reading the prologues of Stephen King's novels, which were similar to a blog in this era, in which he told us what the publishing world was like from the inside.
