The posthumous papers of Juan Marsé

Manuscripts, photographs, drawings, correspondence, and personal objects are part of the legacy of the writer in the process of cataloging.

The papers are part of an ongoing arrangement that must find housing in a place where it can be consulted by academics, students, and admirers of the author's work. For now, they are being patiently classified with the help from some friends, like the writer and critic Emilio Manzano, and that is no small task ahead.

According to Berta Marsé, daughter and herself a writer, of the 108 files cataloged so far, she calculates there are still documents to be chronicled. The priority in the arrangement is to locate and appreciate the value of what was found, which is very sentimental and will be a treasure for scholars.
