Ana Santos Aramburo, director of the BNE (Biblioteca Nacional de España -National Library of Spain) and María Isabel Cabrera, president of the UNE (Unión de Editoriales Universitarias Españolas - Spanish University Publishers) have signed the renewal of the agreement,

established between their institutions in 2019 by which a fund of more than 70 publishers (currently 72) joined the BNE, 12,000 books (14,000 at present) and the annual deliveries of its new publications were formalized.

With this agreement they can coordinate and guarantee the entry by legal deposit of electronic publications edited by UNE members, as well as the metadata necessary for their description and access.
