The publishers of Spanish universities and research centers exhibit their editorial strength at the 82nd Madrid Book Fair and claim the book as a scientific communication tool in an appointment that is convened with the motto "We are Science and Letters" as the axis theme that will illuminate the fair.

Seven booths (UNE, CEU Ediciones – Editorial UFV, UNED, Ediciones Universidad de Navarra EUNSA, Publicacions Universitat de València, Publicaciones Universidad Pontificia Comillas – University of Deusto and Editorial CSIC) make up the Plaza de la Ciencia y las Universidades at the fair and will host 118 publishers from Spain, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru, representing the great showcase for the editorial work that these institutions promote to transfer the knowledge generated on their campuses, to society as a whole.
