How, how much, and what Spanish university students read are some of the questions that will be answered at the 1st Meeting of University Reading Clubs that, organized by the Collegiate Association of Writers (ACE), ...

will be held between the 17th and 19th of May in different cultural spaces in Madrid (Cervantes Institute, Student Residence and National Library of Spain).

This event has the support of the General Directorate for Books and Reading Promotion of the Ministry of Culture and the Spanish Center for Reprographic Rights (CEDRO) and with the collaboration of the General Foundation of the University of Alcalá, the Cervantes Institute, the National Library of Spain, the Circle of Fine Arts and Spanish Radio and Television (RTVE).

This meeting is aimed at directors of reading clubs at the university level and is also open to those responsible for a reading club of various kinds or those who are interested in creating or improving a club. The meeting offers a space to share the experiences of those responsible for the university clubs, and aims to learn about the cultural phenomenon from its complexity.
