The VII Conference on Museum Libraries already has a date

Interested persons must send a summary of the communication before June 23rd, 2023.

The Museum Libraries Network (BIMUS), currently made up of twenty-one institutions, is organizing the VII Conference on Museum Libraries to be held on November 16th and 17th, 2023 at the Museo Nacional del Prado, in virtual and in-person format.

The proposal for this edition of the conference focuses on addressing the role of museum libraries as recipients, curators and showcases of the national and international cultural legacy. It is intended to make visible the role of the library both in its attention to external users, as well as to internal users of the institution itself. In addition, the celebration of different anniversaries related to artists and collectors during the years 2022 and 2023 (Joaquín Sorolla, Pablo Picasso and the Marqués de Cerralbo) will allow us to know the role that the museum library carries out in these celebrations.
