The "great festival of literature" will gather from June 2nd to 11th in the Plaza Mayor, 54 booths with a "singular and very varied" program.

The Valladolid Book Fair will pay tribute to the local comic, personified by cartoonist Jesús Redondo.

Dolores Redondo, Javier Castillo, Elvira Lindo, Julio Llamazares and Ignacio Martínez Pisón will be some of the prominent personalities of the Valladolid Book Fair, with which the city “will live again,” in the words of the Councilor for Culture and Tourism, Ana Redondo, a “great festival of literature”. The Plaza Mayor, the heart of the event, will once again be joined by "mythical spaces" of the city, such as the Assembly Hall of the Círculo de Recreo, which will host presentations, round tables, and workshops. All with the aim of promoting "meetings with the authors and the great issues that concern us," in a "singular and very varied" program, remarked the director of the event, Amparo Herrero.

In this edition, there will be a total of 54 booths that will be displayed next to the City Council, (23 of them, from bookstores, 21 editorials and 7 institutional ones).
