The literary agent Antonia Kerrigan, has passed away this Thursday in Barcelona at the age of 71 after several months of illness, as announced by her family and her literary agency. She was the agent for the also deceased Carlos Ruiz Zafón, author of "La sombra del viento," and a disciple of the mythical Carmen Balcells,
Born in Paris, she was the founder of the agency that bears her name at the end of the eighties in Barcelona, which represents Spanish-language authors throughout the world, as well as other foreign agencies and publishers in Spain. Her agency deeply regrets her death and has given thanks for "her teachings, her love and the leader she was in the publishing world".
