Elvira Lindo reveals the mysteries of her latest novel in the EL PAÍS Reading Club

The author shared with the readers the keys to 'En la boca del lobo'.

A visit to her childhood town awakened inspiration in the writer Elvira Lindo. So much so that she decided to abandon the project she was working on to fully immerse herself in that rising whirlwind. She called her editor and said, "I know you're waiting for a book, but I'm going to deliver another one." This is how Lindo began “En la boca del lobo,” her latest novel and the book-of-the-month for April Reading Club, which was held at the Fnac in Callao.

The book starts with Juliet, an 11-year-old girl, and her mother traveling to the town where the mother grew up. The summer that they will spend in that place, which keeps the memory of the family and other mysteries, will be a turning point in the life of the little girl.  Lindo has been inspired by the town of her childhood, Rincón de Ademuz, in Valencia, to create a setting where nature accompanies the development of the plot.
