The proposal consists in the screening of three films, which can be attended by invitation only, promoting the meeting between exhibitors and collaborators in the days prior to the fair.

Cinema will once again pay tribute to the Madrid Book Fair by hosting, for the second consecutive year, a cycle of literary adaptations that will be screened at the Verdi Cinemas (C/ Bravo Murillo, 28, Madrid), on the 4th, 9th and 23rd of May. The fair thus embraces other cultural industries again.

As Eva Orúe, director of the Madrid Book Fair, points out, there are two choices difficult to decide sometimes: «Book or movie? How many times have we asked or answered that question? My answer is usually "book and movie", depending on the quality of one or the other. But, beyond this false difference of opinion, there is evidence that the publishing world feeds the cinematographic world, in the same way that it is obvious that there are readers who come to books from movies (and television series)”.
