The rise and future of the audiobook

Carlos Rojas Urrutia will talk about the rise and future of the audiobook in a meeting that will be held within CONTEC Buenos Aires.

If in the Hispanic world audiobooks are a small fraction of the market, in Sweden the format covers 50% of the turnover of that publishing industry. In Spanish, the markets explore different models for the audio format.  On the other hand, in the Scandinavian countries the already consolidated option is that of subscription platforms.

We interviewed Carlos Rojas Urrutia, the Mexican responsible for the Zebralution project for Latin America, who will talk with Carlo Carrenho, an editorial consultant based in Sweden, about the rise and future of the audiobook, in a meeting that will be held within CONTEC Buenos Aires, on Wednesday April 26 at 3:00 p.m.
