Sant Jordi 2023: 12 recommended literary classics

There are works that are timeless, others that deserve to be rescued from oblivion and some that improve with illustrations and new translations, like the ones that appear in this compilation.

On Sunday April 23, Barcelona will once again be all abuzz with Sant Jordi. In 2023, the festivity again encompasses the literary superblock between Diagonal, Gran Vía, Balmes Street and Pau Claris Street, and there are two new sites: the recovery of La Rambla and the incorporation of Gran de Gràcia,  from the gardens of Salvador Espriu, all the way to Travessera de Gràcia.  It will be the great central axis, but there will be spaces for books and roses in the different districts of the city, where businesses will be able to set up their stalls beginning April 21.
