The ceremony to receive the award will be next Monday, April 24th

The 92-year-old poet was at the National Library of Spain for a meeting with the press together with the general director of Books and Reading Promotion, María José Gálvez Salvador, and the director of the Library, Ana Santos Aramburo.

There he recited one of his poems before the public and the press. He said that for him "poetry is alive in the language itself... in each word. For example: the word 'astonished' etymologically means 'struck by lightning'. Is it poetry or not?".
