In the presentation of this new edition, Marta Rivera de la Cruz, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports for the Community of Madrid, has set the general lines of La Noche de los Libros 2023 at an event held at the Café Berlín.

Rivera de la Cruz highlighted "the overwhelming reception that this great literary festival traditionally receives in a region that once again leads the reading rates of the entire country."

"We want to reach the widest possible audience, so this year the number of authors, bookstores and libraries that participate in programs for all ages is expanding," the Minister remarked.
