The Collegiate Association of Writers with the collaboration of CEDRO and the Literary Education and Children's Literature Research Group of the Complutense University (ELLI-UCM), announces the A Awards for Children's Literature.
This contest will grant a prize to the best children's literature book published each year, according to the ages of each educational and reading cycle. One of the demands and objectives of the LIJ writers is, as we know, the recognition of our works in the academic world. The A Prizes for Children's Literature will contribute to this, since they will be awarded by teachers and students of teaching from the following universities: Complutense de Madrid, Camilo José Cela, Don Bosco and Nebrija.
The purpose of the A Awards for Children's Literature, is advertising the trajectory and work of contemporary Spanish writers of children's literature among future teachers, currently students who are preparing for it in the Schools of Education of Spanish universities.
