Manu García del Moral: «We survived thanks to becoming exclusive».

In our tour of the different bookstores in Spain, today we came across a particular one, La Librería, the only bookstore specializing in topics about Madrid. Manu García del Moral has opened the doors of this bookstore that is a few meters from the Plaza de la Villa in Madrid, to tell us a little more about this project that also has 4 publishing labels.

“What motivated the opening of this bookstore?”

“The bookstore opened its doors in 1986 as it was the personal dream and project of its founder, Miguel Tébar, who sadly passed away last September. He was a great lover of reading and the city of Madrid, which is why he decided to unite his two passions in the same establishment.”
