The call for entries for the XIV “Ciudad de Málaga” Children's Literature Award 2023 Narrative is open

The deadline for submitting works began on March 14th and will remain open until May 11th.

The Education Department of the Malaga City Council and the Anaya publishing house, in their effort to contribute to the education of the children population through the promotion and diffusion of activities that promote reading at an early age, and, at the same time, offer authors of children's literature the opportunity to promote their works, will convene on the XIV City of Malaga Children's Literature Award.  The award is aimed at unpublished children's narrative works in Spanish with a length between 25 to 45 pages and endowed with a prize of €10,000. The winning work will be published by Anaya Infantil y Juvenil during the autumn of this year.

The works of the Ciudad de Málaga Children's Literature Award will be presented exclusively in digital format on the website that the city council has created for this purpose. The deadline for submitting works began on March 14th and will remain open until May 11th. Authors of any nationality, and of legal age, may submit a single work.  However, authors that have been awarded in any of the five previous editions are excluded.
