The Paseo de Recoletos will be the venue for the celebration of the 45th edition of the Antique and Second-Hand Book Fair from April 28th to May 15th and will be attended by 37 bookstores specializing in antique and second-hand books from all over Spain.

In this new edition, the announcement will be made by the director, producer, screenwriter and bibliophile Álex de la Iglesia, one of the most respected and popular European film directors of his generation, who became president of the Academy of Spanish Cinema. Álex de la Iglesia is considered a genre in itself due to his mastery and originality in various styles of cinematographic art.

For his part, the cartoonist, illustrator, and comic artist from Madrid, Raúl Fernández Calleja, artistically known as Raúl, has been commissioned to design the commemorative poster for the 45th edition of the Antique and Second-hand Book Fair. He has worked in the field of cartooning, graphic design, editorial illustration, and sculpture.
