The XXXII Reina Sofía Prize for Ibero-American Poetry is signed within the Framework Agreement for Cultural Cooperation between the University of Salamanca and National Heritage
The award is endowed with €42,000 and its purpose is to reward the poetic work of a living author who, due to its literary value, constitutes a relevant contribution to the common cultural heritage of Latin America and Spain. The thirty-second call will be open until April 30th.
The prize is awarded every year without the possibility of being considered void and consists of:
• An accrediting diploma
• €42,100
• Celebration at the University of Salamanca of an academic act dedicated to the work of the winner, with his/her assistance.
• Edition of a volume with an anthological compilation of poems by the award-winning author, which will be published by Ediciones Universidad de Salamanca.
