The 8th edition of the contest will have a jury made up of the poets María Ángeles Pérez López (Spain), Luis Moreno Villamediana and Gina Saraceni (Venezuela).

Within the framework of World Poetry Day, La Poeteca Foundation, Venezuelan Authors, Team Poetero and Banesco kick off the 8th edition of the Rafael Cadenas National Young Poetry Contest. In this first stage, young people between the ages of 18 and 30 must send their poems. Those interested may participate from March 21st to May 21st

The participants will submit a single unpublished poem, in Spanish, with a free theme and metric, sent by email with the subject "8th Rafael Cadenas Contest".
