The creator of inspector Dolores Morales will collect the Premio Negra y Criminal Award with which the Festival Atlántico de Género Negro recognizes a literary career dedicated to the genre.
Ramírez will collect the black felt-style hat which is the iconic symbol with which the festival is associated, on Saturday, March 18, at the end of a meeting between the author of “Castigo divino” and the writers from the Canary Islands, José Luis Correa and Javier Hernández Velázquez. The meeting will be presented and moderated by the critic and journalist Eduardo Garcia Rojas from Tenerife. The act, titled “La novela Negra como recurso de denuncia,” (The crime novel as a weapon of accusation) will be held at 12:00 in the Espacio R, in the old poultry market of the capital of Tenerife.
