It is time to review some of the most important literary awards and the books and authors that have been awarded.

. We started in January with the Nadal Prize, and we finished with the most recent and prestigious Cervantes Prize, going through the Planeta, the Nacional de las Letras, the Princess of Asturias and, of course, the Nobel Prize. And also, a couple of children and young adult literature.  A good list to keep in mind when in need of gifting.

These are the books and the authors that have received awards in 2022:

3. Premio Azorín de Novela Award:  “La biblioteca de fuego” by María Zaragoza
4. Premio Planeta 2022 Award:  “Lejos de Luisiana” by Luz Gabás
5. Nobel Prize for Literature:  Annie Ernaux
6. Premio Nacional de Narrativa de España Award: Marilar Aleixandre
7. Premio Hans Christian Andersen Award: “La pandilla de Tristán” by Marie-Aude Murail
8. Premio Princesa de Asturias de las Letras Award: Juan Mayorga
9. Premio Cervantes Award: Rafael Cadenas
10. Premios Edebé de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil 2022 Awards: “Rey” by Monica Rodíguez and “Un ewok en el jardín” by Pedro Ramos
