Madrid, February 8th, 2023. Our Entity has just launched a virtual assistant, based on artificial intelligence (AI), to facilitate the communication and monitoring of complaints made by authors and publishers about the digital piracy of their works.
This new service for members works in real time and makes it possible to report cases of digital piracy and check the status of other complaints filed with our Entity. This tool bases its operation on artificial intelligence and natural language processing and has been financed with the NextGeneration Funds, thanks to the help convened by the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
The director of the Anti-Piracy Department, Lucía Pastor, assures that this tool was created to increase the efficiency of the fight against piracy carried out by our Entity: "It is of vital importance that our partners report all cases in which they believe that they are pirating their books, newspapers, magazines or sheet music and we want to make this an easy communication.»
