Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial gets organized

The new Penguin Random House format could be up and running by the end of February.

Penguin Random House's offer to buy Simon & Schuster was always going to change the future of the world's largest book publisher, but several recent events have changed the way PRH is organized. Judge Florence Pan's ruling, which halted the acquisition, triggered a series of events that included the resignation of Dohle, the promotion of PRH in the US, Nihar Malaviya, to interim CEO, and the decision of the CEO of PRH US, Madeline McIntosh, announced last week, to step down once she has helped Malaviya complete the creation of a new organizational structure for Penguin Random House.
