The VI Conference focuses on the very concept of animation and the promotion of reading in three main environments: social, educational, and family.

Since 2018, the Spanish Association of Friends of Children's and Youth Books, aware of the importance of starting to introduce literature from an early age to achieve competent future readers, has been organizing conferences with the general motto READ IN...In 2018, reading in the family environment was discussed ("Reading with the family"); in 2019, the school environment ("Reading in the classrooms"); in 2020 the general theme was "Reading in libraries", and last year "Reading in diverse environments" was the focus of the debate. In accordance with this plan, this VI conference, which will be held on February 9th and 10th, revolves around the very concept of animation and the promotion of reading in three main environments: social, educational and familiar.
