The objective of "The Little Giants of Reading" is to encourage reading and promote bibliodiversity.

After the success of the pilot edition held in 2022, the reading aloud game "The Little Giants of Reading" will return to the Madrid Book Fair. On this occasion, this contest is aimed at children in 4th grade, with the support of the Department of Education of the Community of Madrid, the library networks of the Community and the Madrid City Council, and children from other autonomous communities, such as those of Alcázar de San Juan, in Castilla La Mancha, will also be able to participate.

«The Little Giants of Reading is a game inspired by a successful initiative that has been carried out in France since 2012 and that proposes 10-year-old children to explore current children's and youth literature by reading their favorite book aloud and sharing with their colleagues”, say Magali Guerrero and Carlos Alonso, coordinators of the project.
