In Publishnews we have echoed an article from the Centro Español de Derechos Reprográficos (CEDRO) - Spanish Center for Reprographic Rights, in which the presidents of the professional associations of authors and publishers’ debate to identify these challenges.

Strengthen the intellectual property rights of writers, translators and publishers of books, newspapers, magazines and sheet music; face the current crisis; foster the habit of reading; promote creation in the different official languages of the State; fight against piracy, and promote the external projection of the book and the magazines published in Spain.  These are some of the challenges that the literary culture sector must face.
