Among the 20-winning works of the Cuatrogatos Foundation Award 2023 there are album books, poems, short stories, and novels.

One of the missions of Fundación Cuatrogatos is the study and assessment of the publishing production in Spanish of children and young adult literature. As a result of this work, they have chosen for the tenth time the 20 winning books of the Cuatrogatos Foundation Award 2023. The selection was made by an integrative group of readers that took into consideration 1,228 publications from 226 publishers from 20 countries. This sample also included self-published books that had their ISBN.

The graphic image that identifies the award was created this year by the prominent Spanish illustrator Concha Pasamar. For the Cuatrogatos Foundation, it is a source of special joy to have the collaboration of this artist, since three of her books have obtained recognition in previous years.
