“Tierra llana,” by Francisco J. Castañón AEP award for the best work of poetry of 2022. At the end of December, the Association of Poetry Publishers released the list of recommended poetry books chosen from the works of poetry published in 2022.

As we all know, poetry is the poor sister of literature; editions do not usually reach the large numbers that other genres do. However, many of us believe that poetry is the sublimation of literature. The images and feelings expressed are unparalleled in other genres. That is why we celebrate lists like this one which the Association of Poetry Publishers has sent us. By Evaristo Aguado
