From February to November 2023, a total of eight libraries will host the exhibition.
The Community of Madrid, through the General Sub-Directorate for Books, once again makes available to all users of its network of libraries a traveling exhibition of the Libros a la Calle campaign, which presented its latest edition last November. From February to November 2023, a total of eight libraries will host the exhibition: Luis Martín-Santos Library (Villa de Vallecas), Miguel Hernández Library (Puente de Vallecas), Rafael Alberti Library (Fuencarral – El Pardo), María Moliner Library (Villaverde), José Hierro Library (Usera), Antonio Mingote Library (Latina), Luis Rosales Library (Carabanchel) and Pedro Salinas Library (Center).
In this XXV edition, Libros a la Calle offers more texts than any other, with 20 images celebrating the award-winning authors of 2021 -such as Cristina Peri Rossi (Cervantes Award, 2021) and the national prize-winners José María Merino, Miren Agur Meabe, Ramón Andrés and Xesús Fraga. In addition, the V Centenial of Antonio Nebrija are commemorated, the first circumnavigation of the world by Magellan, and especially a remembrance of Almudena Grandes, who left us in 2021.
