In 2022, Spaniards have read 125% more than in 2021, which means a total of 990 years of reading.

Rakuten Kobo, the world leader in reading in digital format, has presented the data  in his Kobo Book Report 2022 Annual Report, which reveals the latest reading trends in Spain.  

This increase follows the upward trend brought about by the pandemic, and that has translated into an increase in the number of new readers (+22%) accessing its digital reading platform and the time they spend on it.
