Madrid hosts the 1st Conference on Specialized Libraries

The I Conference on Specialized Libraries aims to be a meeting point for professionals and a starting point for holding successive meetings focused on specific topics.

The Conference is held today, November 17th, at the San Marcos Auditorium at the Ministry of Culture and Sports headquarters, in both: face-to-face and virtual.

The conference is jointly promoted and organized by the General Directorate for Books and Reading Promotion, through the General Sub-directorate for Library Coordination and the Technical Commission for Cooperation of Specialized Libraries of the Council for Library Cooperation. It also has the support of the Spanish Federation of Archival, Library, Documentation and Museum Societies (FESABID), which as a private non-profit entity, founded in 1988, brings together most of the professional associations and colleges in the Information and Documentation sector in Spain.
