Carmen Boullosa will receive the José Emilio Pacheco Excellence in Literature Award 2023 at the opening of the Yucatán International Reading Fair (FIley), and UC-Mexicanistas.

An award that pays tribute to Mexican writers for their work as a whole and that Carmen Boullosa will receive at the opening of the Yucatan International Reading Fair, on Saturday, March 11th, 2023.

The decision was announced on November 12th, on FIley's social networks, within the framework of the international congress of UC-Mexicanistas that took place this year at the University of California, Santa Barbara on November 10th, 11th, and 12th, 2022.
