The book publishing industry must redesign their model to avoid piracy

Piracy in the book publishing industry has increased dramatically in recent years with platforms such as Z-Library, which attract millions of people on a monthly basis.

We're seeing a similar pattern as that of the music industry in 2006, when millions of users flocked to PirateBay to download songs without paying for them.

This week Z-Library was censored, and millions of people are crying out on Twitter. Similarly, in 2015, LibGen was censored but it didn't take long for it to appear again under a different domain.
