On November 8th, 9th and 10th, 2022, the virtual series Writers and Editors in Ibero-America will be held, an event organized jointly by the Regional Center for the Promotion of Books in Latin America and the Caribbean (CERLALC) and the Ministry of Culture of Colombia, within the framework of the cooperation agreement between both entities.
Gender inequality defined and continues to define the production and circulation of works written by women, as well as the participation and actions of women in the different roles of the book value chain. There has been an invisibility of both women writers in national literature as well as a lack of women in the publishing sectors in Ibero-American countries.
