The editor Abelardo Linares, Professor Lola Pons and the Entre Amigos Association, Seville Book Fair Awards 2022.

The Seville Book Fair Awards 2022 already have a name: the editor and poet Abelardo Linares for his career; the professor of Spanish Language Lola Pons as figure of the year; and the association Entre Amigos del Polígono Sur for their promotion of reading, have collected the awards granted each year by the Seville Book Fair Association (AFLS), in a ceremony presided over by the mayor of Seville, Antonio Muñoz.

The event, led by Miguel Ángel Escalera - secretary of the AFLS Board of Directors and member of the jury - began by celebrating the great start of the FLS, which has already seen "four days of a splendid Fair, and a cultural hubbub. The Plaza Nueva has been filled with readers». Escalera explained that this year there have been 17 nominations, proposed for the first time since they have been granted by all the associates. The ruling, unanimously in all categories, was disclosed on October 19th.
