Patrimonio Nacional makes a thousand manuscripts available from its Digital Library through Hispana

On the occasion of Libraries Day, Patrimonio Nacional has made available to the public 998 manuscripts from the Real Biblioteca Digital del Palacio Real de Madrid (Royal Digital Library of the Royal Palace of Madrid) through the Hispana platform,

the largest catalog of digitized works from Spanish libraries, archives and museums.

In this first selection of works already available for free consultation in the Royal Digital Library, the 'Libro de Horas de Isabel la Católica' stands out, which contains high-quality illustrations; the 'Cancionero musical de Palacio,' with music scores prior to the 16th century; and the 'Libro de los Reyes,' one of the most relevant manuscripts of Persian literature and of which numerous copies have been made.
