Which books have more sales in Spain? The data is usually confidential, but EL PERIÓDICO has had access to the two great lists that draw the map of the best-selling books in our country.

One is produced by Cegal, the Spanish Confederation of Booksellers Guilds and Associations, which brings together 1,100 bookshops from all over the country and compiles a weekly list based on the data provided by the bookshops themselves and the Todostuslibros.com website.

The second list is from the consulting firm Gfk, which also offers a weekly Top 100 based on the books sold in department stores, chains, and some independent bookstores, in addition to including the accumulated sales of 2022. EL PERIÓDICO has had access to the list that reflects sales from October 3rd to 9th, when the posthumous novel by Almudena Grandes had not yet reached bookstores. That ranking includes La Casa del Libro, Fnac, Amazon, hypermarkets such as Carrefour and Opencor, and bookstores.
