Spain's editorial/business commitment at the Frankfurt Book Fair has been designed by a cultural program created by the Acción Cultural Española agency, the state company for promotion abroad. The Government of Spain occupied one of the pavilions of the immense trade show. In another building, Spanish companies and regional administrations awaited professionals from all over the world.

More names appear on the list of the best-selling Spanish authors on the market: Dolores Redondo for “Esperando el diluvio.” The Cuban Leonardo Padura, the author of young adult literature Alice Kellen, and the classics like Julia Navarro, Ildefonso Falcones and Elisabet Benavent were also on the rise.
