The jury has highlighted the work of Josep Maria Miró "for its breath of poetry and mastery of theatrical voices".

Josep Maria Miró Coromina has been awarded the National Prize for Dramatic Literature, for 2022, for his work “El cos més bonic que s'haurà trobat mai en aquest lloc,” (Arola Publishing) Catalan edition / “El cuerpo más bonito que se habrá encontrado nunca en este lugar (Artezblai Publishing), translation into Spanish by Eva Vallines, propossed by the jury, which is meeting today. The prize, awarded by the Ministry of Culture and Sport, is endowed with 20,000 euros.

Josep Maria Miró i Coromina has created an emotional work for a sole performer that draws on different perspectives to challenge and move the reader. A work that, in addition to dealing with a topic of pressing relevance, is based on an original vibrant structure and an enormous artistic risk.»
