This Wednesday, October 5 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gabriel García Márquez Library in Barcelona (c/ Treball 219), a concert-reading will be held to commemorate 40 years since the Nobel Prize for Literature was awarded to Gabriel García Márquez.

This activity, open to the public, is part of the program that Colombia, guest of honor country at the Liber Fair, brings to Barcelona.

Different authorities and personalities from the publishing and cultural worlds of both Barcelona and Colombia will read out loud excerpts from the works of “La casa de los Buendía,” “La hojarasca,” “El coronel no tiene quien le escriba,” “Los funerals de Mamá Grande,” “La mala hora,” and “Cien años de soledad.
