Next Thursday, October 6, the Liber 2022 Prizes will be awarded by the Federación de Gremios de Editores de España, FGEE, (Federation of Publishers Guilds of Spain) on the occasion of the International Book Fair, organized this year by Fira de Barcelona.

These awards recognize the trajectory and the work of endorsing and promoting books and reading carried out by various people and entities.

Pere Gimferrer in his role as editor, the writer Soledad Puértolas, the director Benito Zambrano and the producers of the feature film ‘Pan de limón con semillas de amapola,’  the journalist Ignacio Elguero from Radio Nacional de España (RNE), the Llibreria Ramon Llull in Valencia, and the Historical Library of the IES Isabel La Católica in Madrid, will be those awarded in a ceremony that will take place at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC). The Secretary of State for Education and Vocational Training, Jose Manuel Bar, will attend.
