The National Library of Spain organizes a day to assert the legacy of women writers.

The National Library of Spain has invited all the libraries of the Library Commission Council to join this initiative, as well as the network of cultural centers of the AECID, the network of libraries of the City Council and the Community of Madrid, the libraries that form part of ABINIA, as well as all those institutions that wish to join the celebration.

The National Library of Spain, in collaboration with the association ‘Clásicas y Modernas,’ and the Spanish Federation of Women Managers and Professional Executives and Entrepreneurs, (FEDEPE) celebrate the seventh edition of the Day of the Writers, a day to assert the work and legacy of women writers who have written throughout history. This edition is curated by the writer Carmen Domingo and the theme chosen is: ‘Antes, durante y después de las guerras’.  (Before, during and after the wars). A subject as complex and unorthodox as war itself, seen from the point of view of women.
