Margo Glantz, winner of the 2022 Carlos Fuentes Award

The award recognizes long-standing writers whose published work has contributed to enriching the literary heritage.

Feminist critic, academic, twitterer and tireless literary creator, the writer Margo Glantz (1930) has been awarded the Carlos Fuentes International Prize for Creación Literaria en el Idioma Español 2022 (Literaty Creation in the Spanish Language 2022), organized by the federal Ministry of Culture and the Coordination of Cultural Promotion of the UNAM (CulturaUNAM).

This was announced by the federal Secretary of Culture, Alejandra Frausto, who on her Twitter account described the writer from the capital as a "universal vision, young voice, absolute sensitivity, total creator", in addition to wishing "long life to her legacy to the literary world.”
