The Festival Borges is a meeting dedicated entirely to the figure of the writer —an icon of universal and Argentine literature

— whose objective is to revisit the author’s work and establish a current dialogue in order to bring it closer to new readers and audiences.

This second edition will take place from August 8th to 12th, within the framework of the 123rd anniversary of the author's birth. It will be broadcast live on the Borges Festival YouTube channel, with a total of fourteen scheduled activities, all free with prior registration through the festival website.

The object is not only to pay homage to the author through essential topics covering the Borgean world, but also new perspectives on his universe such as quantum physics and cinema in his work; the French connection; the conflict between his cosmopolitan commitment and his South American roots; or the Borges reader.
