He is an academic of the Academia de Buenas Letras of Granada, of the Academia Hispanoamericana de Buenas Letras with the chair of Ramiro de Maeztu, of the Academia de las Artes Escénicas of Spain, of the Academia de Artes Escénicas of Andalusia, of which he is also a founder, and of the Real Academia of Córdoba, honorary president of the Asociación Andaluza de Escritores y Críticos Literarios  (AAEC) and of the Asociación Internacional Humanismo Solidario (AIHS).
