Ignacio Elguero from Radio Nacional de España (RNE), and the feature film "Pan de limón con semillas de amapola," receive the 2022 Liber Award, which will be handed out on October 6th at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC) during the activities of the International Book Fair, Liber.
The Federation of Publishers Guilds of Spain (FGEE) has awarded the 2022 Liber Award for the promotion of reading in the media, to Radio Nacional de España (RNE), in the person of Ignacio Elguero, for his work in promoting reading through its various programs and activities. Likewise, it has awarded the 2022 Liber Prize for the best audiovisual adaptation of a literary work to the feature film “Pan de limón con semillas de amapola,” a Filmax (Spain) production in co-production with Deal Productions (Luxembourg), based on the work of the same name by the Catalan writer Cristina Campos.
The board of directors of the FGEE wanted to reward the work of Ignacio Elguero, Executive Director of Education, Cultural and International Diversity of Radio Televisión Española and Radio Nacional de España, which through its different stations shows great concern and interest in the world of books and of reading.
