With an increasing commitment by publishers and platforms such as Storytel, the reading format opens the universe of the book to those who do not have the habit of reading, as was highlighted in the last meeting of 'La Lectura'.
"Just as love enters through the eyes, reading enters through the ears." For Colombian writer Héctor Abad Faciolince, the current craze for audiobooks is the penultimate stretch of a path that human beings have always traveled.
This is how it was expressed in the last of the La Lectura meetings – thanks to Santander, the Unicaja Foundation, the BMW Group, Endesa and the Ramón Areces Foundation, which was held at the Madrid Book Fair on June 7th with the title “Que hablen los libros” (Let the Books Speak).
