This year marks 17 years of friendship between EL PAÍS and the Hay Festival Segovia. The newspaper, faithful to the cultural meeting of the Castilian city, renews its commitment as a collaborating medium of the event, which this year returns with the participation of more than 100 guests from 17 countries.
The themes of this edition are Tradition and Innovation, and relevant representatives from the world of cinema, literature, music, politics, and art will discuss these topics. “This year we incorporate projects that use new technologies as a means of creation. They are the language in which young people speak today. It is a way of getting closer to them and integrating them into what is happening”, explains the director, María Sheila Cremaschi.
